Along with artists like Mak1, Gogga, and Coe1, Falko first used graffiti as a weapon of protest, using spray cans to shout back at and dismantle oppressive structures. Nowadays Falko’s doing more commercial work than bombing, but he still uses graffiti as a tool to highlight and uplift communities. His latest project, Once Upon a Town, sees him traveling South Africa and painting towns and small settlements, leaving luminous,detailed elephant characters along the way.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Paul Weller, The winner of the Godlike Genius award in 2010 chosen by music magazine NME to honour a figure or group who has helped to shape the musical landscape over the years and past winners have included New Order, The Clash, Ian Brown and Manic Street Preachers. Weller achieved a string of hits with The Jam such as Eton Rifles and Start! before they disbanded in 1982. He bounced back with The Style Council the following year and then launched a solo career in the early 1990s, achieving hits such as You Do Something To Me, Wild Wood and The Changing man. He is also the principal figure of the 1970s and 1980s mod revival, and is often referred to as "The Modfather". Weller has received four Brit Awards, winning the award for Best British Male twice, and the 2006 Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.
